Description
Designed by Joseph Joseph, this Helix potato ricer has been designed with a unique twisting mechanism which multiplies the force used, which means you get more squeezing power from less effort. The tough two piece design is made from stainless steel and nylon which can easily be separated for ease of cleaning.

A marvellous device, the cooked potatoes are so smooth, my autistic granddaughter is very particular about texture and with this device being used, is more than happy to eat them, a win all round!
MrsEJT –
Easy to use, well made, just as you’d expect from a Joseph product.

Does just what it says it does. Smooth, lump free potatoes. Excellent!
Kate –
Perfectly smooth mash every time. Not a gadget left in the drawer – I use it a few times a week
Mrs A –
Best potato ricer yet. I bought this based on great reviews and delighted I did as it is so easy to use and clean.
Megan –
This is the best potato ricer ever! It really does make life easier and it uses very little arm strength to squeeze the potato. If you’re debating buying this, just go for it! You won’t regret it 🙂

Love this ricer, normally you have to press hard on the lever, but this one swivels round to ease the pressure

For ages I’d been using a steel ricer but got frustrated it was so clunky and hard to clean. I then went to pushing boiled spuds or parsnips through a sieve to make really smooth purée but that was a pain. Then I saw the Helix ricer and had to try it. In short, it works really well. The resulting mash is smooth and consistent (better than a manual masher) but not purée smooth. The levers make it much easier to operate. It comes apart and washes easily too. A little mash squishes out the top but much less than most ricers. If I could make a change it would be to increase the size so I could fit more spuds in per squeeze. Maybe for them in two sizes of holes; one for mash and one for purée. It’s become a well used standard in my kitchen and I like it a lot.
